Club Re-Opening Rules and Guidelines
We are excited to announce that our club will officially be opening, Monday, May 18th! We all have been waiting on this day, from the members and the staff. But with great news, comes great responsibility. It would be senseless to ignore the issue that originally caused us to temporality shut down in the first place. We’ve been working hard to make sure we are providing the best experience we can to our members while practicing social distancing.
Check out a few of the things we need your help with to make this happen! We recently launched our John Newcombe Country Club App. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, click here to learn how to access your Username/ Password! The App is crucial to our new operation and maintaining proper social distancing while giving all of our members access to the facilities.

Lobby & Clubhouse
As you enter the club, you'll notice a few things we've done to ensure proper social distancing. We've marked spaces six feet apart as you check in to the front desk. Please do not gather as a group and hang out in the lobby area. Feel free to go outside and socialize! Self Screening: In an effort to keep all of members safe, please perform a quick self-screening process before entering the club.
Have you or any members of your household had any of the following symptoms of possible COVID-19?
SHORTNESS OF BREATH OR DIFFICULTY BREATHING
REPEATED SHAKING WITH CHILLS
LOSS OF TASTE OR SMELL
FEELING FEVERISH OR MEASURED TEMPERATURE GREATER OR EQUAL TO 100.0 DEGREES
KNOWN CLOSE CONTACT WITH A PERSON WHO IS LAB CONFIRMED TO HAVE COVID-19
If you answered yes to 1 or more of these conditions, please refrain from entering John Newcombe Country for at least 72 hours.
Reservations available on the app and by calling front desk (during this time, we will be very busy using all staff to clean so best to us app for reservations). Please make sure you are calling ahead and not just dropping in. Between all of the departments, we have a capacity requirement and don’t want to have to turn you away if we go over. The limit is 4 people per court. Please download and use the app to book your courts and be sure to include all members that will be playing with you on the court. We will have a $10 no-show fee for missed court bookings. For more information on our updated tennis procedures, click here.
Gym and Fitness Center
We’ve done our best to spread out equipment and turn off machines to allow proper social distancing. Each member is asked to disinfect the items they touch.
We will be also offering group fitness on a limited level. We are only allowing 7 people to reserve a space in each indoor fitness class. Outdoor group fitness will have 12 spots available. A schedule will be released via the app soon! The group fitness room will be locked when there is not a class going on.
Every other electric machine will be powered off to maintain social distancing to those that make a reservation. The gym will be open to book a reservation all throughout club operating hours.
We will have limited spots available to reserve for the pool. You can book the pool for 1 hour and 45 minutes. If you book a pool reservation and no-show to it, we will charge a $10 fee but will waive the fee for 1st time offense. We will be cleaning this area before each reservation time slot and asking that all members that book a slot, please respect the employees when requested to pack up so we have time to sanitize the area.
Pool reservations are available for:
Families (Up to 5 people, if larger please call the front desk)
Pool lanes for laps will be open from 7am to close every day and available to be reserved. The only time the pool will be unavailable is during our 15 minute sanitization time.
Swim lessons are currently on hold until further notice.
With Kids Club being closed, we ask that you refrain from bringing kids to the club without a reservation to use the club in some fashion. We ask that all children are supervised by a parent or proper adult supervision at all times.
